    Biography

    Dr. James Johnson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics in 2004 at the University of Pittsburgh. Thereater, Dr. Johnson earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL in 2012. He completed his residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York, NY in 2015. Following residency, Dr. Johnson entered practice at Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft, ME, from 2015 – 2017, where he helped to establish the hospital’s first podiatry service.

    Dr. Johnson is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

    His clinical interests include lowering readmission rates for patients hospitalized for foot infections and maximizing surgical outcomes in complex limb salvage procedures.
