    Biography

    Dr. Megan Balliet, D.P.M., M.P.H., is a treating physician at the UCSF Center for Limb Preservation, which specializes in patients with conditions that put them at high risk for lower extremity ulceration or amputation, such as diabetes and peripheral artery disease.

    Dr. Balliet received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology & Society from Cornell University, Masters of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health, and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.  She then completed a three-year residency in podiatric medicine and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at St. Luke’s University Health Network near Philadelphia, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.

    Dr. Balliet has been in practice since 2015.  She has a special interest in advanced wound healing, limb salvage and patient education.  She’s board-certified by the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.  She’s a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and American Public Health Association.
